The 3 track EP explores the imaginary life of one’s desires, concept adapted from the middle ages. The harshness of medieval peasant life does not exist in this land. The idea of how sound can make one feels like stepping into another imaginary space that brings you on a journey of discovering the land of plenty (Cockaigne). Various frequencies and bandwidths of noise bombard one’s senses, allowing one to be isolated in space and time while being the barrier of noise and reality.

Renee Yeo is a mixed-media artist based in Singapore. She is currently pursuing Bachelor of Arts (Hons) Fine Art at the University of Arts London (UAL) in collaboration with Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA). Renee's works range from art installations to films and sound art, her practice incorporates personal memories and self-identity, which is an ongoing exploration of how materiality speaks stories.
